| Yesterday was a spectacularly gorgeous fall day here in Sonoma County. I decided to go out and paint. I was headed to the Laguna of Santa Rosa, a favorite painting spot, when I saw this view off Highway 116. I pulled over into an apple orchard and painted for a peaceful hour and a half. I need to adjust colors and finish the vines, but this painting already makes me happy to look at. |
