Sold at Art for Life!

"Laguna Colors" went to its new home in Healdsburg. I got to go to a fun art event, with great food & wine, and my painting helped raise money for a good cause.

Art for Life

"Laguna Colors" (9 in. x 12 in. oil) has been donated to the Art for Life auction. This auction raises money to fight AIDS, and is being held this year on September 19th at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Last time I donated a piece it sold; hope it will this year as well! This piece was painted in Sebastopol at the Laguna of Santa Rosa.

Hanging out with Herons

Today, I began a painting at the Laguna of Santa Rosa. It is a beautiful place, full of tall grasses & plants of many different colors. While I painted, Great Blue Herons & bright, white Egrets flew around, and fish jumped in the laguna. I tried to look for every color I could find in each direction I looked.
